Former Fellows Speak

I am Mesfin now general practitioner in the Pathology Department of Gondar University Hospital . As a former GBF Fellow, I want to express my deep gratitude to the family of Dr Getachew and all those individuals and organization that support GBF. I say this because when we were students the fund gave us morale in addition to the material supplies that were very helpful. By the way many medical students know the name 'Getachew Bolodia' but they don't know the details about him. Hence the GBF office should give more information. I want to stress also that previous fellows want to be members of the GBF but do not know how to do it.

I am one the first GBF fellows from AAU Medical Faculty, currently doing residency in Internal Medicine in Michigan. I want to be a member and contributor for this foundation. GBF is one of the reasons for my success in medical school. I also know a couple other GBF Fellows who are around, and they will definitely be members as well. I talked to the few friends I have here in Michigan, and they favor the idea of joining the efforts of GBF. You may advice me on how to contribute. Looking forward to hearing from you. I have been working with Dr. Paulos Berhanu and still in good contact. I will join the Division of Endocrinology at Wayne State University in July as a fellow. Dr. Berhane Seyoum is a member of the faculty here. You can see that there is a good GBF network.
